This is the news that the Perth drum and bass scene has been waiting to hear! Jungle Cakes Takeover is coming to Bass Camp 2020!
Three of the UK’s biggest DnB legends will be playing at the all new summer festival at Woodman Point, Western Australia. Featuring Deekline, Ed Solo and Benny Page, the Jungle Cakes Takeover will be performing rare and exclusive back-to-back sets where each member of the crew competes to drop larger and louder sonic weapons than their counterparts. Checkout the footage below from Boomtown!
Jungle Cakes Takeover gives a huge injection of drum and bass to the Bass Camp 2020 lineup, joining other DnB sounds from Perth locals Wyn, Vishnu, Elkymbo and Bassfiend. The bass-heavy theme is strong for the inaugural festival by the beach, featuring UK breaks master A Skillz, and Perth hip-hop beatmaker Fdel and Macshane. Also joining the Bass Camp lineup as part of the second lineup announcement, is the funky FunKnight, the psychadelic sounds of Switchkraft, the crunkadelic 20Hz Life, and Perth tech-house producer MANR.

The two-night and three-day Bass Camp festival is a summer camp for adults, held at the beach-side Woodman Point Recreation Camp. The adventure activities usually reserved for school camps and corporate retreats will opened up for festival campers. Have you seen the double-mega-zipline? Bass Campers are also treated to meals included everyday, bunk dorm accommodation, and a very Aussie BYO licensed event. Read all the festival info here.
